A night to remember

When we started our PTA The Musical journey, we dreamt of the story and the songs being performed in front of a live audience.

Such is the competitive nature of musical theatre, we knew it was going to be a challenge to get our show on the stage.

We know we have something special, a poignant and amusing story about a primary school that every parent and teacher can relate to.

With the support of the inimitable Antony Stuart-Hicks, ‘An Evening From the West End’ took place at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester, this evening (August 7 2025) celebrating some of the most popular tunes from established shows.

We were honoured that ‘Beneath the Apple Tree’ and "‘You Get What You Give’ were also performed on the night, to rapturous applause from the wonderful and enthusiastic audience.

It was a magical evening that also raised some much-needed funds to help us workshop and develop PTA The Musical and a night we will never forget.

But this is just the beginning…..
