Fundraising – Our GoFundMe

Two years ago, we began an exciting journey developing a new comedy musical.

Despite all of the creative team being busy parents, we have made rapid progress.

We planned to workshop our musical in April 2025 to finesse the songs and script but due to several arts funding applications being declined (yes the Arts Council are tightening their belts too!), we have yet to raise much-needed funds to showcase our production to industry producers who have shown strong interest.

So we are looking to raise £10,000. This will help to pay for artists’ costs, musicians, a director, choreographer, videographer and much more, in the hope that PTA-THE MUSICAL will soon be on its way to a theatre near you!

A bit about the show...

‘PTA – The Musical’ is co-written by Amanda Alexander, Karen Fisher-Pollard, and Craig Mather, with Steve Moss as our orchestrator and Musical Director.

This is a show about community, overcoming adversity, a heart-warming comedy about school fundraising, fierce families, forgotten dreams, and the occasional bake sale showdown.

If you’ve ever volunteered for anything in your life (or tried to avoid it), this show will speak to you.

At its core, ‘PTA – The Musical’ is about community – the messy, beautiful, chaotic kind – and the idea that you get what you give.

It’s about stepping up, leaning in, and finding unlikely strength (and friendship) in the most everyday places: school halls, playgrounds, and PTA meetings.

We’ve been lucky enough to receive incredible support from the Mercury Theatre and its Executive Producer, Antony Stuart Hicks, who has given us studio space, time, and unshakable belief – completely free of charge – to help bring this project to life.

We've even been shortlisted for BEAM, an organisation which champions bold new British musicals.

How can you help?

If you would like to support this musical’s journey to the next stage, please get involved.

Whether it’s donating here, sharing our story, or simply spreading the word, we’d love your support.

We believe we have something very special to share with the world and we want you to be part of it.

We also appreciate that times are tough for so many, and we deeply value any support you can give.
